TGPSC Group-1 Exam Pattern

TGPSC authorities recruit candidates for the post of Group-1 through a three-fold assessment process. The exam pattern is the same for all the posts.

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Mains Examination

Know the previous year TGPSC Group 1 Cut Off

In the case of TGPSC Group-1 Prelims exam, the structure will be of objective type:

  • The paper will consist of 150 questions of 1 mark each.
  • Time duration will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
After successfully clearing the prelims, candidates have to go through a general English test of 150 marks for the duration of three hours.
  • The mains will consist of six other papers as well. 
  • Total marks of mains will be 900.
  • Time duration will be 3 hours.

TGPSC Group-1 Eligibility: Important Information

The table given below enlists the particulars related to the eligibility of TSPSC Group-I examinations that need to be taken into consideration by all candidates attempting to appear in the examination:

Age:

18-46 years

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should have completed their Graduation/ Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university

Nationality:

An applicant must be an Indian Citizen

Number of Attempts:

As many possible within the age limit and after having proper educational qualification

Mode of Test

Online

According to the TGPSC Group-I Eligibility criteria, a candidate should be of the age between 18 to 44 years.

The candidates who are willing to appear for this examination, are hereby requested to check the age relaxation eligibility criteria before filling up the TSPSC Group-I application form.

TGPSC Group-1 Educational Qualification:

TSPSC Group-1 is going to conduct a computer-based examination to hire new aspirants for Group-1 posts in 2022 based on merits. In terms of TSPSC Group-I educational qualification eligibility, the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or college with an aggregate of 50% marks.

TGPSC Group-1 Nationality:

The candidate must be an Indian in order to appear in the TSPSC Group-I examination according to the rule set by TSPSC for the TSPSC Group-1 exam 2022. This means that the candidates need to have relevant documents that show that they are citizens of India.

TGPSC Group-1 Number of Attempts:

The commission has not yet fixed any number of attempts that an eligible candidate can take. A candidate can appear for the exam only when he/she is eligible. If any limited number of attempts for different category candidates are decided by TSPSC, it will be informed.

TGPSC Group-1 Required Experience:

 No experience is required to appear for the TSPSC Group-1 exam 2022. Any eligible candidate can apply for the TSPSC Group-1 exam 2022.
